Adam Goodes

Adam Goodes, born on January 8, 1980, is a former professional Australian rules footballer and Indigenous rights advocate. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Australian rules footballers of all time. Goodes was born in Wallaroo Mines, a suburb within the Port Adelaide Enfield region. He played for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL), winning two premierships and earning two Brownlow Medals. Goodes was also named Australian of the Year in 2014 for his efforts in fighting racism and promoting reconciliation.

Rory Sloane

Rory Sloane, born on March 17, 1990, is a professional Australian rules footballer who currently plays for the Adelaide Football Club in the AFL. He was born in Aberfoyle Park, another suburb within the Port Adelaide Enfield region. Sloane has established himself as a key midfielder and leader on the field. Sharni Layton

Sharni Layton, born on January 6, 1988, is a former professional netball player. She was born in Port Adelaide, a suburb within the Port Adelaide Enfield region. Layton is best known for her time with the Australian national netball team, the Diamonds, where she won multiple gold medals at international competitions. She also played for various teams in the national netball league, including the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Collingwood Magpies.

Sir Robert Helpmann

Sir Robert Helpmann, born on April 9, 1909, was an Australian dancer, actor, and choreographer. He grew up in Mount Gambier, South Australia, but later moved to the Port Adelaide Enfield region. Helpmann had a highly successful career in both Australia and internationally, working with renowned companies such as the Royal Ballet in London. He is particularly remembered for his performances in ballets such as "Giselle" and "The Red Shoes," as well as his acting roles in films like "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."
